While it has bourbon-like qualities from its ex-Jack Daniels barrels, it's designed to be a mild, easy-drinking spirit that's more approachable than traditional rums or bourbons. The name reflects both the oak barrels used and its appeal to bourbon drinkers.
This unique cane spirit is aged in ex-Jack Daniels barrels, which impart subtle bourbon characteristics without overwhelming the base spirit. We use raw, unfiltered honey sourced from local hives around Ormeau and Pimpama to add body without significant sweetness, keeping the sugar content at about 2% by weight.
